Taking Care of your Sex Toys

Making sure you take good care of your adult sex toys is essential to extending their life and preventing any problems with bacteria or fungi.

Using regular hand soap to wash your sex toys can actually cause harm to them. The material that adult toys are made from can be harmed by soap. Also, if you use antibacterial soap, this could cause the good bacteria to be killed as well. Good bacteria is essential to maintain a healthy vagina. In order to prevent upsetting your body's natural pH balance while inhibiting microbial and fungal growth, we recommend using a sex toy cleaner that formulated just for toys.

We have 2 anti-bacterial cleansers that are great for keeping your toys clean. One is the Before & After Adult Toy Cleaner (AKA Clean & Simple Adult Toy Cleanser Spray). The

other one is Anti-Bacterial Toy Cleaner. Both of these sex toy cleaners are convenient spray bottles that you can use to spray your sex toys to clean them before use and after. After cleaning, rinse with warm water and dry them with a lint-free cloth.

After cleaning and drying your sex toys, store them properly. Make sure you remove the batteries and store the toy in a plastic or special toy bag. This will prevent your toys from collecting lint and dirt and also from coming into contact with other toys that could cause them to melt together, peel or become discolored. Some toy materials are not compatible and therefore storing them together can cause major problems! Make sure you store them in a temperature controlled environment to ensure a long life for your sex toys!
